Pavement Appreciation
The pavement is a canvas for artists of all ages, from children enjoying the gritty pleasures of chalk drawing, to experimenters adapting their methods to suit the horizontal. Their artworks – some of them even signed – enchant the asphalt and transform ordinary street objects, bringing a sparkle to grubby urban corners, dull suburban cul-de-sacs, and monotonous rural kilometres.
